When you create an Event, you have an option to ask the parents to bring an item. If the parent has informed you via a phone call or SMS that she’d like to bring a specific item or if the parent has no means to access ClassTag, you can easily assign her to the item so that other parents won’t be able to choose it.

To assign the parents to bring an item, please follow these steps.

  1. Log in on ClassTag.
  2. Click “Activities” then look for the Event.

3. Click the plus key next to the item.

4. Look for the parent’s name and click the “Assign” button. 

5. To confirm that the parent has successfully been assigned to the item, click “Show More”.

6. You’ll now see the parents name assigned to bring the item. 

To remove the parent from the item, please follow these steps.

  1. Log in on ClassTag.
  2. Click “Activities” then look for the Event.

3. Click “Show More”.

4. Look for the item and the parent’s name. Click on the circle before the parent’s name.

5. A pop-up window will show up to confirm that you’d like to unassign the parent to bring the item. Click “Confirm” to proceed.

6. The parent’s name should now be removed from the item.
