Requesting for a volunteer is something that teachers would sometimes need to do. This could be for an upcoming event where you need the parents’ help to accomplish a specific task.

If the parents are having problems volunteering to the event (e.g., no internet access) or if they advised you that they’d like to volunteer through a phone call or SMS, please follow these steps on how to assign them on a Volunteer Request.

  1. Log in on ClassTag
  2. Click “Activities” and look for the Volunteer Request that you’ve created.

3. Click the “+” key.

4. The list of parents will show up. Look for the parent’s name and click the “Assign” button.

5. Once done, you’ll now be able to see the parent’s name as a volunteer.

6. If there are other slots available, other parents can choose any of these remaining slots or you can also assign them.

If, for some reason, the parent mentioned that she’ll be unable to volunteer anymore, please follow these steps to remove her from being a volunteer.

  1. Log in on ClassTag.
  2. Click “Activities” and look for the Volunteer Request that you’ve created.

3. Look for the parent’s name and click on the circle before his/her name.

4. A pop-up window will appear. Click “Confirm” to unassign the parent.
