Multiple children in the same class (i.e., twins in the same class)
If you are invited to join a class via your email address or mobile number, you’ll get an email or SMS notification and be able to accept it for both children at the same time. No need to register separate accounts.
If you are inputting the code from a flyer, you will need to do so for all of your children in that class since SchoolStatus Connect doesn't have the information yet that they are in the same family.
Once the parent account is created, you will be receiving one copy of the information from this class (we wouldn't want to overload you with the same information for each child) and individual messages regarding each of the children.
Children in different classes or the same child in multiple classes
If you are invited to join the classes via your email address or mobile number, you’ll get an email or SMS notification to join each of the classes. Once you accept the first invitation, you will be able to see the other classes on your SchoolStatus Connect account on the web or mobile app by clicking on the three horizontal lines on the upper left side. Please click on the class avatar to see that class.
If you are inputting the code from a flyer, you will need to do so for each of the classes since SchoolStatus Connect doesn't have the information yet that you are a parent of multiple children in different classes or the same child across multiple classes.
Once your parent account is created, you will be receiving information from all the classes separately. Any school-wide announcements and activities will be incorporated into all the applicable classes your children are in.
It is important that you have been invited with the same contact information (email address or mobile number) so that SchoolStatus Connect can link the children to the same parent account. If you see that the contact information is different, please reach out to the teacher or school leader to change it.
