At SchoolStatus Connect, we provide different ways for teachers to invite parents to join a class. Teachers can add your email address or mobile number; however, there are instances that they might not have the correct information with them or might have nothing at all. Thus, we do not have the option to use a generic class code that parents can use to sign up. We don’t want anyone to join a class who is not a parent or guardian of any student.
However, SchoolStatus Connect provides each family with a unique alphanumeric code (usually 7 digits) that can be used to join a class.
If you received an email or SMS with a link to sign up for SchoolStatus Connect and decided to use that credential to sign up for an account, you don’t need to enter a code. Simply click on the link and you should be good to go.
If you received an email or SMS with a link to sign up for SchoolStatus Connect and decided to use a different email address or mobile number to sign up for an account, the system is going to ask you for a code.
The teacher should have given your child a flyer with a unique code that you can use. In case you haven’t received one, please send an email to email@example.com with the information below so we can find the correct code for you to join your child's class.
