Sending Invitations in Different Languages

It is very easy to communicate with parents in the language of their choice even before the families join ClassTag. Now you can invite parents via email or sms as well as print invitations in the language preferred by the parents. 

Inviting parents in a different language via email or sms

When inviting parents in your directory tab, you have an option to change the default language for that parent from English to 50+ languages when sending the invitation. 

You can set the language for every parent you invite when entering contacts manually in the directory and even when you copy & paste student list and emails for bulk import.

Resending invitation in a different language via email or sms

If you have not selected a language other than English when initially sending the invitation, you can do so by editing the contact and resending the invitation in a new language. Please follow these four easy steps:

1. Make sure your directory in in Edit mode when you can edit information for all parents

2. Click on the pencil icon next to the parent who would need an invitation in a language other than English

3. Select the language for that parent from a drop-down

4. Click Update and Resend invitation

Once a parent joins, he or she will have an opportunity to change the language from the one you selected as needed both right when accepting the invitation and at any time in their account settings.

Inviting parents in a different language when printing flyers

When you need to invite parents using a code and printed flyers, you can select the language for the flyers for each family and then click download and print invitations. You have an option to change the default language for each family without contact information from English to 50+ languages currently available.

Once parents join ClassTag, they can change the language according to their preference right on the page where they input the code or at any time in their 'Account Settings' as described above.

Translating all communications

Parents will be receiving all communications you, your co-teachers, school leaders and other users authorized to communicate in the language of their choice whether it is an announcement, a weekly newsletter / summary, individual conversations or any other content created in ClassTag apps, web and selected channel for communication email or sms.
